The song was originally sung by the American country music singer David Allan Coe.
Coe said of the song:
"I guess it's a song about a marriage that's been in a mid-life crisis for too long. I didn't write the song. I couldn't sing it like David Allan Coe wrote it, so I just sang it to suit myself, and I put words to it. It's a pretty rough arrangement, but I believe it's an old-fashioned song."

The music video was directed by Jim Shea and premiered in February 1983 on the U.S. CTV network.
Chart performance
The song reached number 13 on the Hot Country Songs chart and number 86 on the Canadian RPM Top Singles chart in Canada.

Python - How to get the object value by calling __getattr__
I am working on custom logger module in Python. To generate the output I need to get the object level value and format it as it is done in Logging module.
To get the logging object I use the following code:
for i in range(3):
s = '{0} {1}'.format(i, obj.info)
print s
When I print the obj.info I get it as a tuple and not a string as it should be.
